Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2010 after her hit singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop.
