Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter, born Ariel Winter Workman (Janurary 28th, 1998) in Los Angeles California is an American actress, singer, and voice actor. Ariel began her career in acting in the early years of her life. Ariel was featured in a Cool Whip ad when she was just 6 years old. She landed her first television part at the age of 7 on an episode of the CBS comedy Listen Up!. Later on she appeared on such shows as Monk Bones or ER. The year 2007 saw her debut as Gretchen in The Disney Original Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. Her breakthrough performance in live-action came two years later in the role of Alex Dunphy of the hit television series Modern Family. With the cast from Modern Family she received the Screen Actors Guild Award in four different years for Best Ensemble Comedy Series. Ariel is still doing voice-over for films like ParaNorman Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, as well as Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel wears a purple belt in Taekwondo. Ariel is the younger sister of the actors Shanelle Workman and Jimmy Workman. She is a performer with her own group WickedSweet.
