Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts belongs to the Robertses' fourth generation that reside in the Atlanta region, beginning with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father was enthusiastic about theatre at an early age. As a college student at Emory University from 1952 to 1954, he participated in numerous productions. He joined the air force in 1953. While working in Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in the air force. In 1955, they got married and, in 1956, their child Eric Anthony was born. In 1957, the couple quit the Air Force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter became a member of Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio after they moved their family from Atlanta to Georgia's Decatur in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning show on local television for kids named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. This was a project they self-financed. Later that year they founded The Actors and Writers Workshop which operated for a period of six years. Lelisa Billingsley who is also referred to as Lisa was born in the year 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
