Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 on the 28th of October, 1967 in Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Julia Fiona Roberts is the fourth generation of Roberts living in Atlanta. She inherited her father's interest in the theatre at a young age. When he was a college pupil at Emory University from 1952 to 1954, he took part in several shows. He joined the Air Force in 1953. During his time working in Biloxi Mississippi, he was a part of the military's production, which featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was part of Air Force. They married in 1955. Their child, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter and his wife were discharged from the military in 1957 after which they began enrolment with Walter in Tulane University. Walter was a part of the Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio at the time the family moved from Atlanta to Decatur in Georgia in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which ran for about six years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also called Julie) during this period.
